Passport Canada Mobile Passport Unit in Vernon

Officials from the Passport Canada Mobile Passport Unit will be in Vernon on April 28 to review and accept completed passport applications. Dates: April 28, 2009 Location: Best Western Vernon Lodge and Conference Centre 3914 32nd Street Vernon, BC Time: Noon to 8 p.m. The only acceptable methods of fee payment at these clinics will be: certified cheque, money order (postal or bank) made payable to the “Receiver General for Canada”, VISA, MasterCard and American Express. Payment by cash or debit will NOT be accepted. Passport application forms can be downloaded from the Passport Canada website and completed by typing in the information. The form can also be obtained at any Passport Canada office, Service Canada Centre or Canada Post office. Passport Canada reminds Canadian citizens to prepare now for any travel plans to the United States by applying for a passport to enter the United States under the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI). The WHTI is a US law that requires all travellers, including Canadian and American citizens, to present a valid passport when entering the United States from within the western hemisphere. |
